Requirements and Limitations
Review supported operating systems, permissions, activation requirements, and platform limitations before using Power Suite.
Windows Requirements

Windows Limitations
Sysprep behavior
After Sysprep, selected OS Enhancement Utility and Lockdown Utility settings are removed, including notification settings, hibernate, device control, kiosk mode, automatic logon, boot options, and Ctrl + Alt + Del screen options.
Windows on ARM
Firmware Update is supported only on WoA devices. Some features are unsupported or blocked on WoA, including Touch settings, Hibernate, Automatic Windows Update, Assigned Access kiosk mode, current BIOS energy settings, Unified Write Filter HORM, and Security Diagnosis.
ADV Image Manager
- Supported on UEFI systems.
- Backs up only the
C:partition. - Recycle Bin contents are not included in backup.
- Multiple Windows systems on the same computer are not supported.
- Do not plug in or remove external storage devices during environment setup, backup, or recovery.
Ubuntu Requirements

Ubuntu Limitations
- ADV Image Manager requires Secure Boot to be disabled in BIOS.
- More than one Ubuntu system on the same computer is not supported.
- Do not plug in or remove external storage devices during environment setup, backup, or recovery.
- Do not change disks or partitions during environment creation.
